Ministry of SMEs and Startups Labor-Management Join Hands for Economic Vitality in "Korea Together Sale"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Korea Small and Medium Business Administration Public Officials Labor Union announced on the 9th that it purchased union commemorative gifts (a set of 550 towels worth about 10 million KRW) through the 'Value Shopping Platform,' where the Korea Together Sale online special exhibition is held.

This purchase of union commemorative gifts was promoted by the union to participate in the Korea Together Sale. The Korea Together Sale is a large-scale consumption festival aimed at revitalizing our economy and overcoming the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Since the inauguration of the Moon Jae-in administration, the Small and Medium Business Administration labor union has signed the first and shortest labor-management collective agreement among administrative labor negotiations. In April of this year, it also led a good consumer campaign together with the National Public Officials Labor Union.

Kim Younghwan, chairman of the Small and Medium Business Administration labor union, said, "We want to fulfill the social responsibility of public officials by participating in the overcoming movement to share the pain of small business owners suffering from COVID-19," adding, "As the labor union of the main ministry, we will continue to walk together with small and medium enterprises and small business owners and strive to exert a positive influence in valuable places."
