Jeonbuk's 33rd COVID-19 Case Confirmed... 20s US Military Personnel in Gunsan

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] A US soldier in his 20s stationed in Gunsan, Jeonbuk, has been confirmed as the 33rd COVID-19 case in the province.

According to the provincial health authorities on the 8th, the US soldier in his 20s, Mr. A, tested positive for COVID-19 at 10 a.m. on the 8th and was placed in isolation.

Mr. A arrived at Incheon Airport on the 6th via Delta Air Lines flight 159, was transported to the base by military vehicle, and was confirmed positive for COVID-19 following specimen testing.

The provincial health authorities have sent an official letter to the Incheon Airport quarantine office to identify passengers on the incoming flight and contacts within the airport.
