[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Hanwha General Insurance announced on the 8th that the Seoul Regional Headquarters volunteer group conducted a volunteer activity to create heatwave health kits for the prevention of COVID-19 at the Elderly Living Alone Comprehensive Support Center and the Seosomun building auditorium.
The volunteer group packaged preventive items such as disposable masks, mosquito repellents, dehumidifiers, and cool sleeves, along with health foods consisting of 11 different types, for elderly people in vulnerable areas who find it difficult to engage in outdoor activities due to the heat. These health kits will be delivered to four elderly customized care service agencies operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, including the Yaksu Senior Welfare Center.
A Hanwha General Insurance official said, "We put the hearts of our employees into the health kits for elderly people in marginalized areas during the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic heatwave," adding, "In the second half of the year, we will also strengthen untact sharing activity content for children's safety education to help wisely overcome the current difficulties."
