Patient No. 123 is a woman in her 70s residing in Yongjeon-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju. She had contact with patient No. 92 at Ilgok Central Church from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on the 28th of last month. She stayed at home on the 4th and 5th and visited the Buk-gu screening clinic for testing on the 6th.
No. 124 is a man in his 50s living in Sangmu SK View, Chipyeong-dong, Seo-gu. He was confirmed to have had contact with patient No. 117 and is classified as related to the Gosi Academy. He showed symptoms such as chills and fever on the 5th and visited the screening clinic on the 7th.
No. 125, a man in his 50s, resides in Jinheung The Rubens, Geumho-dong, Seo-gu. He also had contact with patient No. 117 and is related to the Gosi Academy. Symptoms such as body aches, fever, and sore throat appeared on the 5th. He stayed at the Gosi Academy (31-16 Yesul-gil) in Daeui-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju from 8:40 AM to 1:00 PM on the 2nd. It was also investigated that he visited Namwon, Jeonbuk from 5:20 AM to 3:30 PM on the 4th.
No. 126 is a woman in her 50s living in Samik Apartment, Bongseon-dong, Nam-gu. She is a contact of patient No. 35 related to Gwangneuksa Temple and had been self-quarantining since the 27th of last month. She tested positive in a pre-release test the day before. She visited Geumtap Hardware in Yongsan-dong, Dong-gu, from 12:20 to 12:25 PM on the 24th of last month.
No. 127 is a man in his 60s residing in Hak 2 Village Apartment, Hak-dong, Dong-gu. He is a contact of patient No. 117 related to the Gosi Academy. Symptoms such as diarrhea appeared from the 4th.
No. 128 also had contact with patient No. 117 and is related to the Gosi Academy. He lives in Yedang Officetel, Dongmyeong-dong, Dong-gu. He experienced chills and headaches from the 5th. He stayed at the Gosi Academy in Daeui-dong, Gwangju from 9:05 PM on the 3rd to 1:00 AM the next day. On the 4th, he visited a restaurant in Gwangju from 1:00 to 1:30 PM, and all contacts there have been identified. He traveled to Yeonggwang and Hampyeong on the 4th and 5th.
No. 129 is a woman in her 50s living in Daebang Noble Land, Suwan 6th Complex, Gwangsan-gu. It is presumed she was infected at SM Sauna in Sinchang-dong, Gwangsan-gu. She visited SM Sauna from 9:40 AM to 12:00 PM on the 27th of last month and from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the 28th. She is reported to have no special symptoms.
The infection routes of the seven newly confirmed cases include Ilgok Central Church, Gwangneuksa Temple, Gosi Academy, and SM Sauna, showing diversity.
Health authorities are conducting epidemiological investigations to identify precise movement paths and contacts of these patients.
Meanwhile, since the 27th of last month, a total of 96 confirmed cases have occurred in Gwangju.
By type, there are 7 related to Gwangneuksa Temple, 22 to Geumyang Officetel, 6 from a trip to Jeju, 2 from SKJ Hospital, 17 from Ilgok Central Church, 19 from Gwangju Sarang Church, 7 from Agape Silver Center, 7 from Hanul Nursing Hospital, 4 from Gosi Academy, 1 from SM Sauna, 3 imported cases, and 1 under investigation.
By age group, there are 2 under 10 years old, 1 in their teens, 3 in their 20s, 8 in their 30s, 9 in their 40s, 24 in their 50s, 29 in their 60s, 14 in their 70s, 2 in their 80s, and 4 in their 90s.
From the 27th of last month to the present (as of 9 AM), the daily case numbers are 4→4→3→12→22→6→8→16→7→6→8.
