New Homes in Daerim-dong, 10 More Applicants Accepted Until the 24th

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yuk Mi-seok] Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 7th that it will relocate the Gurye Dormitory in Seoul, currently operated in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu, to Daerim-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, which has better transportation and accessibility, and will recruit 10 additional residents to nurture talents from Gurye.

The Daerim-dong Gurye Dormitory consists of a building with a site area of 416㎡ and a total floor area of 1,481.09㎡, with 2 basement floors and 7 above-ground floors.

It is located a 7-minute walk from Daerim Station on Subway Lines 2 and 7, and a 10-minute walk from Guro Digital Complex Station on Subway Line 2, providing excellent accessibility to major universities.

The dormitory is composed of studio-type rooms equipped with air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, induction cooktops, sinks, microwaves, beds, desks, chairs, and bathrooms, offering optimal conditions for university students to live.

The dormitory capacity is 24 single-occupancy rooms, and 10 additional residents will be recruited by the 24th, in addition to the existing residents.

Applicants must be new or current students enrolled in universities or graduate schools located in Seoul or the metropolitan area, and their guardians must have their resident registration in Gurye-gun as of the resident selection announcement date (July 2, 2020). After evaluating academic performance and lifestyle, selected residents can register and live in the Daerim-dong Gurye Dormitory starting mid-August.
