According to Jeonnam Province on the 7th, Mr. A, a man in his 20s with Kazakhstani nationality who entered the country for an art performance, tested positive for COVID-19.

Mr. A departed from Kazakhstan and arrived at Incheon International Airport on the morning of the 5th.

Following the guidelines for overseas arrivals, he used the KTX exclusive car to travel to Yeocheon Station, then underwent specimen collection at the public health center screening clinic, and was admitted to a temporary isolation facility in Yeosu City, where he tested positive the previous day.

Mr. A was transferred to Suncheon Medical Center, and health authorities are identifying additional contacts.
