LG Electronics Launches Pre-Order for Premium Wireless Earbuds 'Tone Free'

[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] LG Electronics announced on the 7th that it will conduct a pre-order sale of its new premium wireless earphones, 'Tone Free' (model name: HBS-TFN6), from the 10th to the 16th of this month.

LG Electronics will exclusively hold the Tone Free pre-order sale on 'Naver Shopping' and will start selling nationwide at LG Best Shops and LG Electronics' official online stores from the 17th.

Customers who pre-order Tone Free will receive various purchase benefits, including a macaron concept accessory case (one of five colors), a Starbucks keyring, and Naver points worth up to 70,000 KRW.

Customers can use the accessory cases in five colors developed by LG Electronics?Mint, Pistachio, Lemon, Strawberry, and Raspberry?to style them as fashion items.

The Tone Free wireless earphones apply excellent signal processing technology and advanced tuning technology (EQ, Equalizer) from the luxury audio company Meridian Audio. Considering hardware structures optimized for the new earphone design and software performance, it delivers premium sound.

This product features a canal-type design with LG's unique ergonomic design, providing excellent comfort. The earphone's center of gravity is positioned inside the ear, making it more comfortable when worn.

LG Electronics explained that it adopted silicone material for the ear gels attached to the earphones, which directly contact the skin, passing biological safety tests related to skin contact according to the international standard (ISO 10993).

The earphones can play music for up to one hour with just a 5-minute charge and have an IPX4 (International Protection) waterproof rating, allowing use during activities with heavy sweating such as hiking and weight training.

Additionally, the charging case for storing and charging the earphones features wireless charging and a 'UVnano' function that sterilizes 99.9% of harmful bacteria such as E. coli inside the sound hole. UVnano is a compound word of 'UV (ultraviolet) LED' and 'nanometer,' the unit of ultraviolet wavelength, which reduces harmful substances.

The Tone Free wireless earphones will be released in two colors, Matte Black and Glossy White, with a retail price of 199,000 KRW.
