[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Illionaire Records, a hip-hop label home to rappers Dok2, Beenzino, and The Quiett, has announced its disbandment.

On the 6th, Illionaire Records posted on its official social network service (SNS), "Illionaire Records is concluding a long journey of the past 10 years, and the artists are preparing to start new challenges in their respective positions. We sincerely thank you for the support and love you have given us so far, and we ask for your continued encouragement for the artists' new beginnings. Once again, thank you."

On the same day, The Quiett, a rapper from Illionaire Records, expressed his gratitude for the past through SNS, saying, "Thank you for everything."

Earlier, on the 2nd, Beenzino also hinted at parting ways with Illionaire Records during a live broadcast, saying, "I only have the desire to grow. A new environment would be fine. I want to become new. I want to meet new people a little more. I've only been in very comfortable places."

Illionaire Records is a hip-hop label co-founded by The Quiett and Dok2 in December 2010. After recruiting Beenzino in June of the following year, they steadily continued activities by additionally signing Kim Hyo-eun, Changmo, Hash Swan, and others.
