Korea Daeriunjeon General Association Launches Mobile Coupon Product

[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] The Korea Chauffeur Driving Association announced on the 6th that it will launch a chauffeur driving mobile coupon product (hereinafter referred to as chauffeur driving coupons) together with 150 member companies to eradicate drunk driving and support the livelihoods of those working in the chauffeur driving industry.

The chauffeur driving coupons, exclusively guaranteed and issued by the Korea Chauffeur Driving Association in Korea, are mobile gift certificates that can be used like cash, allowing users to conveniently access chauffeur driving services without cash.

They can be purchased through online shopping malls or gifted to acquaintances, offering the advantage of using the service without concerns about personal information leakage such as credit card details when booking chauffeur driving. Additionally, they are available on Korea's largest mobile coupon platform, 'KakaoTalk Gift,' enabling easy purchase and gifting 24 hours a day.

In August, the association plans to release its own application to improve accessibility so that companies can also provide chauffeur driving coupons to their employees. Initially, the chauffeur driving coupons will be serviced in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, and Chungcheong regions, with plans to expand the service nationwide in the future.

Nam Seong-jun, president of the Korea Chauffeur Driving Association, said, "We created mobile chauffeur driving coupons because we believe that by making them mobile and fostering a culture where family and friends conveniently exchange them, we can contribute even a little to reducing drunk driving."
