Amid the hotel tourism industry being severely impacted by COVID-19, this agreement is expected to turn the crisis into an opportunity not only for the industry but also for job seekers.
Through this agreement, outstanding hotel management major students from Dongmyung University will participate in differentiated field training and internship programs at the nation's top-class residence-type hotel located in Haeundae, Busan. The hotel side will actively support not only field training but also recruitment.
In the future, new models of industry-academic activities through online platforms will be introduced in addition to industry-academic information exchange and joint research.
Jung Ki-ho, head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, said, "We hope for practical exchanges that can be mutually beneficial and will provide field-customized education that meets the demands from the company's perspective."
