City Construction has begun accepting applications today (the 6th) for the private rental units of Daegu Ansim New Town’s first apartment complex, ‘Daegu Ansim 2nd City Pradium,’ which has been actively on sale since the 3rd.
The biggest advantage of private rental apartments is that you can decide to purchase after living there first. The private rental units of ‘Daegu Ansim 2nd City Pradium’ allow residents to live for four years before converting to ownership. Additionally, anyone aged 19 or older can apply regardless of whether they have a subscription savings account, income level, or homeownership status. Another notable benefit is freedom from various tax burdens such as capital gains tax, acquisition tax, and property tax.
Located in B2 block of the Ansim New Town urban development zone in Yulam-dong, Dong-gu, Daegu, ‘Daegu Ansim 2nd City Pradium’ is a complex of 431 units ranging from 59 to 84 square meters across two basement floors to 16 floors above ground. Among these, 240 units of 59㎡ are offered as private rentals, and 191 units of 84㎡ are for general sale.
Applications for private rental units will be accepted online over two days from the 6th (Monday) to the 7th (Tuesday) of this month, with winners announced on the 8th (Wednesday). The official contract signing will take place over three days from July 16th (Thursday) to 18th (Saturday).

‘Daegu Ansim 2nd City Pradium’ is the first apartment to be sold in Daegu Ansim New Town. The first sale units are often located in the best and most livable areas, resulting in higher price appreciation compared to subsequent developments.
Ansim New Town involves transforming the aging Ansim Fuel Complex site in Yonggye-dong into a smart city. The goal is to build advanced information and communication technology (ICT) and smart city infrastructure to provide services that citizens need. Additionally, large retail facilities, commercial and cultural centers, and parks are planned within Ansim New Town, promising a pleasant residential environment.
Expectations are high due to development plans. Near ‘Daegu Ansim 2nd City Pradium,’ the development of Huenomic City is planned. Huenomic City combines the concepts of rest (休息), human, economic, and city, and involves creating a new city about twice the size of Yeouido on the site planned for the relocation of Daegu Gun Airport (K2). It will feature commercial, cultural, and residential spaces along with ultra-high-rise mixed-use commercial facilities, developing into a self-sufficient complex new city. Once completed, Huenomic City will form a new residential belt in eastern Daegu connecting Ansim New Town and Sinseo Innovation City.
The excellent transportation environment is also noteworthy. ‘Daegu Ansim 2nd City Pradium’ is adjacent to Shingi Station on Daegu Subway Line 1, making access to major downtown areas convenient. Notably, the double-track railway project between Ansim and Hayang on Line 1 began construction last year, which will further improve transportation accessibility. Additionally, it is close to the Gyeongbu Expressway and Jungang Expressway, facilitating convenient travel by car.
The living infrastructure is abundant. Large retail facilities such as Costco, Lotte Outlet, and Lotte Mart are nearby, as well as Banyaweol Market. Especially since a commercial district is within walking distance, residents can expect to enjoy increasingly diverse convenience facilities over time.

The practical interior layout of ‘Daegu Ansim 2nd City Pradium’ also stands out. All units are primarily south-facing to maximize natural light and ventilation. Furthermore, all parking is located underground, creating a park-like complex free of cars on the surface, and various community facilities are planned to enrich residents’ quality of life.
The ability to transfer sale rights is also a point of interest. Following the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s real estate policy announced in May, metropolitan cities in provinces will prohibit sale rights transfer until ownership registration starting in August. ‘Daegu Ansim 2nd City Pradium’ began sales before this regulation applies, allowing sale rights transfer one year after the apartment contract. It is likely to be the first and last complex in Ansim New Town where sale rights transfer is possible. (A three-year sale rights transfer period is currently under legislative notice in Ansim New Town.)
The general sale of ‘Daegu Ansim 2nd City Pradium’ will start with special supply on July 13th (Monday), followed by first-priority applications on the 14th (Tuesday) and second-priority applications on the 15th (Wednesday). Winners will be announced on the 21st (Tuesday), and official contracts will be signed over three days from August 3rd (Monday) to August 5th (Wednesday).
