Cuckoo Launches 4-Stage Drying Course and Large-Capacity Storage Dish Dryer

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Cuckoo Electronics announced on the 6th that it has launched the ‘Cuckoo Dish Dryer,’ which can safely store wet dishes after washing from external dust and bacteria.

The new product features a spacious storage capacity of up to 40L, allowing it to dry and store dishes used by families of 4 to 6 members. Using the included baby bottle holder, it can effectively dry long bottles such as baby bottles and tumblers.

The Cuckoo Dish Dryer, equipped with a 4-step drying course function, can be set to standard, small, or large amounts according to the quantity of dishes to be dried, and removes moisture from dishes thoroughly with high-temperature hot air at 60 to 80 degrees Celsius. Consumers who prefer to cool down the heated dishes after drying or dry dishes with natural airflow rather than hot air can use the natural wind course.

In particular, the natural wind course is preset from 10 minutes, the small amount course from 25 minutes, and the large amount course from 45 minutes, and during the drying process, drying time can be extended up to three times by 10 minutes each.

The LED display at the bottom of the dish dryer allows users to check the operating time for each course, and it notifies with blinking on the LED display and an alarm sound when the water tray is full.

The tray for placing dishes is made of SUS 304, a high-quality stainless steel known for its durability. Stainless steel SUS 304 is resistant to water and heat, has a low possibility of corrosion, and does not produce harmful substances such as heavy metals, making it hygienic and safe for long-term use. Additionally, the dish dryer’s lid features a two-step opening method with a wide opening angle, making it easy to put in or take out dishes.

A Cuckoo Electronics official said, “When wet dishes are air-dried after washing, although not visible to the naked eye, they are easily contaminated by dust and bacteria in the air, and water stains may form on the dish surface as the water dries. With Cuckoo’s dish dryer, dishes can be immediately organized, dried, and stored in a sealed manner after washing, creating a cleaner and more hygienic kitchen.”
