Lotte Department Store, 'Cheer Up Korea' Special Sale on Air Conditioners and Summer Blankets

[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] Lotte Department Store announced on the 6th that it will offer discounts on smart summer products during the final week of the ‘Cheer Up Korea’ regular sale this week (6th to 12th).

First, a special exhibition of representative air conditioner products will be held. Samsung, LG, and Winia Dimchae are participating, and when purchasing air conditioner products over a certain amount with a KB card for a single brand, customers will receive Lotte gift certificates worth about 8%. Additionally, when paying through the L.pay application, it is possible to accumulate additional points up to a certain limit.

Also, considering that purchases are made with delivery and installation periods in mind, Samsung has pre-stocked about 1,000 air conditioners in stores to shorten the time required for installation at the customer’s home. Furthermore, when purchasing LG Whisen air conditioners, customers will receive a Lucen circulator worth 76,000 KRW, and Winia Dimchae air conditioners are included in the top-efficiency appliance rebate program, allowing customers to receive up to 10% of the purchase amount as a rebate until government funds are exhausted.

Summer bedding is also being sold at discounts of 50-70%. Representative products include the Elle bamboo mat from ‘Hanil Carpet The Maison,’ which offers a cool touch using bamboo surfaces, and the seersucker summer blanket from ‘Elle Paris.’ Due to increased preference for summer goose down blankets because of air conditioner use, ‘Goose & Home’ is also selling Polish goose down blankets.

Fashion product events are also prepared. At List, Line, and JJ JIGOTT stores in all metropolitan area locations including the main store, Jamsil branch, and Incheon Terminal branch, planned products such as blouses and dresses are being sold at 50-70% discounts. Representative products include List blouses and jumpsuits at 70% off, and Line dresses at 60% off. JJ JIGOTT is selling about 10 types of summer fashion products, including dresses, at approximately 70% discount.
