[Breaking] Patient with Arm Fracture Tests Positive... Samyuk Seoul Hospital Emergency Room Temporarily Closed

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] The emergency room at Samyook Seoul Hospital was temporarily closed after a patient who visited the emergency room with an arm fracture tested positive for asymptomatic COVID-19, the Dongdaemun District Office in Seoul announced on the 2nd.

According to Dongdaemun District, an woman in her 80s living in Jangan 2-dong (Dongdaemun case number 39) visited the emergency room at Samyook Seoul Hospital on June 30 due to an arm fracture, underwent a screening test, and was confirmed positive late at night on July 1. Consequently, the patient was transferred to Seoul National University Hospital.

Prior to this, the patient was found by a passerby around 10 p.m. on June 30 after falling on the stairs and was taken to the emergency room at Samyook Seoul Hospital.

Dongdaemun District is currently searching for the person who assisted the patient at that time.
