Busan University of Science and Technology's Donghyun Lee, Consecutive Wins in Korean Formula KF-1600

ASA KIC-CUP Touring Car Race Consecutive 2-Time Champion

Busan University of Science and Technology's Lee Dong-hyun won first place consecutively in the second race of the ‘ASA KIC-CUP Touring Car Race’.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Lee Dong-hyun, a student at Busan University of Science and Technology, won the wire-to-wire victory in the ASA KIC-CUP Touring Car Race 'Korean-style Formula KF 1600' category, following the opening round.

On June 28, Lee Dong-hyun secured his second consecutive win at the second race of the 'ASA KIC-CUP Touring Car Race' held at the Korea International Circuit (KIC) in Yeongam, Jeollanam-do, solidifying his presence.

In the time trial format race, Lee Dong-hyun recorded a lap time of 1 minute 31.849 seconds in the first run, placing his name at the top of the leaderboard. Moon Do-yoon took second place with 1 minute 33.433 seconds, followed by Kim Jeong-hoon, Kim Ji-min, and Yoo Seong-wook in the lap time rankings.

In the second run, Lee Dong-hyun improved his lap time to 1 minute 30.803 seconds, beating his previous record by more than one second, maintaining the lead and lifting the winner's trophy.

In the second round of KF 1600, the newly introduced Croc 6-speed sequential transmission and Jacker tires' slick tires were equipped, delivering a more thrilling race.
