Hanwha Defense Holds Mobile Video Conference for 'Mutual Growth' with Partner Companies

Seongsoo Lee, CEO of Hanwha Defense, participated in the regular general meeting of the 'Win-Win Growth Council' via mobile video conference at his office in Janggyo-dong, Seoul, on the 17th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Hanwha Defense announced on the 18th that it held the regular general meeting of the Win-Win Growth Council on the 17th via a mobile video conference.

Hanwha Defense explained that this meeting was held in the form of a mobile video conference for the first time to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

At the meeting, Lee Sung-soo, CEO of Hanwha Defense, and key executives, along with 40 representatives from partner companies, shared major management status and discussed quality assurance policies and compliance implementation plans.

Additionally, companies such as Jiseong Q&Tech, Yeonhap Precision, and SG Solution received awards as outstanding partner companies in the regular evaluation.

CEO Lee Sung-soo stated, “Hanwha Defense will continue mutual cooperation and support with partner companies based on communication and trust, and will create practical cooperation that generates and shares the fruits of growth and profit together.”

He also emphasized, “Despite the restrictions on face-to-face contact due to COVID-19, it is especially meaningful that the Win-Win Growth Council was conducted without interruption through mobile video conferencing. We will continue to seek win-win cooperation methods suitable for the upcoming ‘untact (non-face-to-face)’ era.”

Hanwha Defense was newly launched in January last year through the integration of Hanwha Ground Defense, a defense affiliate of Hanwha Group, and Hanwha Defense, producing various weapon systems in the fields of firepower, mobility, air defense, and unmanned systems.
