[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Young-tae] Jeonbuk Technopark announced on the 5th that it will accept applications for the 'Jeonbuk Innovation Growth R&D+ Project' until the 29th to strengthen the province's science and technology capabilities and promote economic revitalization.
The 'Jeonbuk Innovation Growth R&D+ Project' is a program that supports the development of commercialization technologies for companies by utilizing the province's innovation infrastructure, focusing on three core industries: new energy industries, future transportation machinery, and advanced convergence materials.
This project allows small and medium-sized enterprises located in the province that have corporate-affiliated research institutes or dedicated research departments to apply as lead organizations, while government-funded research institutes, related research institutions, universities, and companies located in the province can participate as partner organizations.
The support types are divided into open competition and purchase-conditional types. The purchase-conditional type requires submission of a purchase commitment letter. The open competition type plans to support up to 100 million KRW in project funds, while the purchase-conditional type plans to support up to 150 million KRW.
Director Yang Gyun-ui stated, "Through this project, we will do our best to help revitalize the local economy by prioritizing the discovery and support of core technologies for local companies facing crises due to the impact of COVID-19."
