Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) and Incheon Urban Corporation announced that they will supply 20 parcels of land for parking lots, single-family housing sites, general commercial sites, and neighborhood living facilities in Yeongjong Sky City, Incheon, through public bidding and lottery methods.

Among the sites being supplied this time, the parking lot sites are five parcels in the Yeongjong Sky City area of Unnam-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon. The total area reaches 10,840㎡, with a building coverage ratio of 60% and a floor area ratio of 600%, allowing construction up to 10 floors above ground.

Yeongjong Sky City is adjacent to Incheon International Airport and features major tourist attractions such as a large-scale marine park and Seaside Park. It is also close to prestigious schools known as Incheon International High School, Science High School, and Haneul High School, providing an excellent educational environment. The area is expected to attract significant interest from both end-users and investors due to development benefits from the Third Yeonryuk Bridge scheduled to begin construction by the end of this year, as well as relatively affordable apartment prices compared to nearby areas.

Once the Third Yeonryuk Bridge opens, it will directly connect to Cheongna International City, allowing the sharing of infrastructure and hinterland demand with Cheongna International City. It is also expected to greatly contribute to the revitalization of the local economy by boosting investment attraction in Yeongjong Sky City and expanding accessibility to Incheon International Airport.

An official from a nearby real estate agency stated, “Yeongjong Sky City is raising expectations among demanders ahead of the Third Yeonryuk Bridge construction,” adding, “As it is a non-regulated area with abundant living infrastructure conditions such as transportation, education, and nature, various types of projects and investments are possible, so strong interest is anticipated.”
