SNS Event to Celebrate the Hosting of the Hadong World Tea Expo

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Gyeongnam Province and Hadong County announced on the 1st that they will hold an SNS quiz event until the 12th of this month to pray for the hosting of the 2022 Hadong World Tea Expo international event.

Citizens who wish to participate in the event can visit Hadong County's official SNS (blog, Facebook, Instagram) and submit the quiz event answers. Among those who submit correct answers, 100 participants will be randomly selected to receive 1 box of Green Tea Crispy Roll made from Hadong green tea as a prize.

This event was planned to pray for the hosting of the '2022 Hadong World Tea Expo' and to inform the entire nation of its necessity, thereby increasing citizens' interest and participation.

The '2022 Hadong World Tea Expo,' jointly prepared by Gyeongnam Province and Hadong County, is currently undergoing a feasibility study for international event approval by the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy, a national research institute. Once the feasibility study is completed, the Ministry of Economy and Finance will hold an international event review committee meeting in July for final approval.

Jung Jae-min, Director of the Provincial Agricultural Policy Bureau, said, "We ask for the active interest and participation of the residents for the successful hosting of the '2022 Hadong World Tea Expo,' prepared under the theme 'Scent of Nature, Healthy Future, Tea!'"
