[Photo] Emergency Disinfection at Mapo-gu Office, Health Center, and Mapo-gu Council

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Mapo-gu (Mayor Yoo Dong-gyun) conducted an emergency disinfection of the Mapo-gu Office building, health center, and district council starting at 9 a.m. on the 30th.

This was implemented as a preemptive measure to block the spread of COVID-19 and protect the safety of residents visiting the district office, as part of strengthened quarantine measures following recent cluster infections in the Seoul metropolitan area.

A Mapo-gu official stated, "This disinfection was carried out from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. using a professional disinfection company's ultra-fine particle sprayer, covering the entire government complex including offices, hallways, and elevators."
