[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] GFriend member Yerin joined the 'Thanks To Challenge' to support medical staff fighting the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
On the 29th, Yerin posted on GFriend's official Instagram, saying, "I sincerely thank the medical staff who are working hard every day and even at this very moment to end COVID-19," along with, "I hope the day comes soon when we can take off our masks, smile brightly, and meet with Buddies," accompanied by a photo.
In the photo, Yerin is making a sign language pose expressing respect for the medical staff.
Additionally, Yerin nominated the fan club Buddy as the next participant in the challenge.
Meanwhile, the 'Thanks To Challenge' that Yerin participated in is a nationwide participatory campaign expressing respect and gratitude toward medical staff fighting on the front lines of COVID-19 through sign language.
Along with Yerin, singers Suzy, Park Bogum, and Apink's Oh Hayoung also took part.
