Police Continue Search for Remaining Bodies
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] A partially damaged corpse was found in the Gyeongin Ara Waterway in Incheon, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 29th at 3:24 PM that an unidentified partial corpse was discovered near the Danamgyo Bridge waterway in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon.
A citizen exercising near the Ara Waterway found the corpse floating in the water and reported it to 112. The corpse was reportedly in a severely decomposed state at the time of discovery.
The police are not ruling out the possibility that the corpse is related to a violent crime and are searching for the remaining parts of the body while planning to identify the corpse.
