[Photo] Oh Seung-rok, Nowon District Mayor, Attends Goheung-gun Specialty Products Delivery Ceremony

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the 29th at 4 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, held a 'Market Specialty Product Delivery Ceremony' with participating companies at the Gohung-gun Direct Transaction Market site in the new building parking lot of the district office.

The delivery ceremony was arranged after 16 companies participating in the direct transaction market expressed their intention to donate some specialty products to vulnerable groups. They donated goods worth approximately 7.5 million KRW, including rice, yuja, seaweed, and kimchi, which are agricultural, marine, and specialty products from Gohung.

Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, and Park Jun-seok, Secretary General of the Nowon Education Welfare Foundation, attended the event.

The donated goods will be delivered to those in need, such as vulnerable groups facing difficulties, through the Education Welfare Foundation.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok expressed his gratitude, saying, “Despite the difficult situation faced by farmers, I am thankful for their support with these gifts,” and added, “This will be a great help to the residents struggling due to COVID-19.”
