Jeonju University Selected for 13 Consecutive Years in High School Education Contribution University Support Project


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] Jeonju University announced that it has been selected for the Ministry of Education's '2020 University Support Project for High School Education Contribution.'


According to Jeonju University on the 29th, it has been carrying out the 'University Support Project for High School Education Contribution' for 13 consecutive years since the Admission Officer System Support Project in 2008.


This year, among four-year universities that applied, 75 universities were selected and will receive a project fund of 998 million KRW.


Jeonju University analyzed that its various programs such as department experience and career and college entrance fairs, as well as designing college admission screening in line with government policies, received favorable reviews.


The Director of Admissions at Jeonju University said, "We will continue to strive for fair and transparent college admission screening operations and to reduce the burden of entrance exams for students and parents."


Meanwhile, Jeonju University plans to select a total of 915 students (35.7% of the admission quota) through the comprehensive student record screening for the 2021 academic year admissions, expanding the general comprehensive student record screening from 892 to 915 students by 23.
