Jinan-gun, 2019 Business Survey Based on Standards

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Go Dallyeong] Jinan-gun (Governor Jeon Chunsung) will conduct a business establishment survey based on 2019 standards targeting all businesses from the 4th to the 29th of next month.

The business establishment survey, conducted nationwide every year under the supervision of Statistics Korea, is used as basic data for policy formulation, evaluation, and corporate management planning by understanding regional distribution and employment structure.

The surveyed data is a nationally designated statistic (No. 10137) strictly protected under Article 44 (Protection of Confidentiality) of the Statistics Act, and cannot be used for purposes other than statistical compilation.

Approximately 1,900 businesses in Jinan-gun are subject to the survey, which will be conducted through face-to-face interviews by surveyors wearing identification badges and masks while complying with COVID-19 prevention guidelines.

A county official stated, “Since this survey is used as valuable data for national policy formulation and county administration, we ask for active cooperation.”
