The total prize money is 1 billion KRW, with a winner's prize of 250 million KRW, held as a 72-hole stroke play at Bears Best Cheongna Golf Club in Incheon. Accordingly, the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour is maintaining momentum, following the KLPGA Championship that ended on the 17th, heading into the second major of the 2020 season.

It is interesting that the KGA and Kolon had already canceled the Kolon Korea Open (total prize money 1.2 billion KRW), scheduled for June 25 at Woojeong Hills Golf Club in Cheonan, Chungnam.
