NH Nonghyup Card Donates 350 Million Won to Rural Love Movement Public Fund

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] NH Nonghyup Card announced on the 29th that it delivered 350 million KRW in public interest funds from card usage for the development of agriculture and rural areas and the welfare improvement of farmers to the (Corporation) Nongchon Sarang National Movement Headquarters at the Nonghyup Bank headquarters on the 28th.

The funds delivered this time were raised by accumulating a certain percentage of the usage amount of the '(NEW) Nongchon Sarang Check Card.' They will be used for various Nongchon Sarang movement projects such as supporting welfare improvement supplies for vulnerable groups, emergency support for farmers affected by disasters and calamities, and supporting volunteer and talent-sharing activities.

Shin In-sik, CEO of NH Nonghyup Card, said, "We will continue to take the lead in various social contribution activities to help our agriculture and rural areas, which are struggling due to COVID-19 and other challenges, and further contribute to improving the quality of life of farmers."

Meanwhile, since 2008, NH Nonghyup Card has been supporting the Nongchon Sarang movement projects through the (Corporation) Nongchon Sarang National Movement Headquarters to revitalize exchanges between rural and urban areas, cultivate vibrant rural communities, and jointly improve the quality of life for farmers and urban residents.
