Hyundai Motor Company Unveils Teaser Image of 'The New Santa Fe'... Launching in June

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Hyundai Motor Company unveiled teaser images of the exterior of the mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) 'The New Santa Fe' on the 26th. The New Santa Fe is a facelift model of the 4th generation Santa Fe, which was launched in February 2018, and is scheduled to be released next month through a digital unboxing event.

The new design of The New Santa Fe revealed through the teaser images maintains Hyundai's signature elements while appearing more luxurious and grand. The front features an integrated grille and headlamp design, a characteristic seen commonly in Hyundai models since 'The New Grandeur.' Additionally, the contrast between the horizontal grille structure and the vertical daytime running light (DRL) lamps creates a strong and distinctive image that is recognizable from a distance.

Hyundai applied a new platform and powertrain to The New Santa Fe, improving not only the actual living space but also driving performance and fuel efficiency.

A Hyundai official stated, “The domestic representative mid-size SUV Santa Fe has been reborn as ‘The New Santa Fe’ through innovative changes,” adding, “The New Santa Fe will lead trends in the family SUV market going forward.”
