Seongdong-gu, 3 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed After Contact at Gopchang Restaurant and Charcoal Barbecue

[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] On the 25th, Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jeong Won-oh) reported 3 new confirmed COVID-19 cases.

These three individuals are presumed to have been infected after contact with Seongdong-gu #23 confirmed case on the 17th, and were diagnosed positive on the morning of the 25th.

Currently, the on-site epidemiological investigation team is identifying detailed movement paths of each confirmed case through CCTV review and other means, and will promptly disclose any additional findings.

Seongdong-gu plans to transfer the three confirmed cases to isolation hospitals on the 25th, conduct disinfection measures at their homes and shared residential areas, and carry out COVID-19 testing for cohabiting family members.

To quickly block community transmission, anyone who visited the relevant business establishments during this period is strongly advised to wear a mask, use private vehicles if possible, and visit the nearest screening clinic for testing.

Furthermore, it was emphasized to strictly follow personal hygiene rules such as handwashing and mask-wearing, and for both business owners and users to pay special attention to complying with quarantine guidelines when using multi-use facilities.

Seongdong #24: Resident of Geumho 2-3 ga-dong, in their 60s, symptoms appeared on May 20, scheduled to be transferred to Seoul Medical Center at 8 PM

Seongdong #25: Resident of Geumho 2-3 ga-dong, in their 70s, symptoms appeared on May 24, scheduled to be transferred to Chung-Ang University Hospital at 5 PM

Seongdong #26: Resident of Geumho 1 ga-dong, in their 50s, asymptomatic, scheduled to be transferred to Seoul Medical Center at 2 PM
