[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] CJ Logistics announced on the 21st that it ranked 44th in the overall brand ranking in the '2020 China Logistics Brand Top 50' released by LOG, a Chinese logistics specialized new media company.
LOG is a Chinese logistics specialized information platform that provides PR, consulting, marketing, research services, and data related to the logistics industry such as public logistics and supply management. This ranking was compiled based on data measuring awareness and influence in four areas: public, industry, government, and perception.
In the overall ranking, the most popular logistics brand was the Chinese courier giant SF Express, and among foreign companies, the American international express company Fedex ranked 15th, taking first place. CJ Logistics was ranked 9th highest among foreign companies.
Along with the overall brand ranking, CJ Logistics ranked 10th among all logistics brands in China in the contract logistics (CL) industry sector. CL refers to the outsourcing of logistics-related tasks by companies to specific specialized firms.
A CJ Logistics official said, "Social contribution activities such as supporting COVID-19 quarantine and emergency relief material transportation seem to have contributed to enhancing the brand image and having a positive impact in China," adding, "We will strive to grow as a global logistics company based on the advanced logistics technology of the recently reorganized TES Logistics Technology Institute and the proven operational know-how in Korea."
