Ddokdak Surpasses 4 Million Registered Members... "Half of Domestic Infants and Toddlers Registered"

Ddokdak Surpasses 4 Million Registered Members... "Half of Domestic Infants and Toddlers Registered"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Vibros (CEO Song Yong-beom), which operates the easy hospital reservation service 'Ddokdak,' announced on the 14th that the number of registered members of Ddokdak has surpassed 4 million.

The number of registered members of Ddokdak increased by more than 1 million over about four months since January. Vibros explained that this is meaningful because these members directly registered their personal information to use not only services that do not require separate membership registration, such as the mask map, but also Ddokdak's main services, including mobile medical appointment and reception services.

Vibros analyzed that as non-face-to-face (untact) services have gained attention due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the number of members using Ddokdak, which can reduce secondary infections in hospitals, is rapidly increasing.

In particular, the usage rate of Ddokdak is high among families with young children. Among registered members, 1.1 million are infants and toddlers aged 6 or younger born after 2015. More than half of the domestic births after 2015 are registered on Ddokdak. Due to the frequent hospital visits for essential vaccinations and other reasons typical of infants and toddlers, it appears that parents actively use Ddokdak to reduce waiting times and the risk of secondary infections in hospitals.

Ddokdak operates various untact services such as the 'mobile medical appointment and reception service,' which allows medical appointments and reception without visiting the hospital in person, and the 'Ddokdak kiosk,' which requires no contact with medical staff for reception and payment. It also features a 'vaccination reminder function' to help users not miss essential vaccination schedules.

Song Yong-beom, CEO of Vibros, said, "Ddokdak will receive even more attention in the post-COVID era, which aims to minimize face-to-face contact between people," adding, "We will not be complacent with the current achievements and will do our best to leap forward as a healthcare platform responsible for the health of 50 million people."
