"Medical Staff Are Heroes" Myeongnyunjinsagalbi Franchise Owners' Association Donates Medical Staff Fund to Hope Bridge

The Myeongryun Jinsa Galbi Franchise Owners Association, famous for its "Sutbul Dwaeji Galbi" (charcoal-grilled pork ribs), has been revealed to have raised funds from franchise owners to support medical staff battling the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and donated the money to Hope Bridge.

At the donation ceremony, the chairman of the Franchise Owners Association said, "We are pleased to express our support and gratitude to all the medical staff who are working hard to fulfill their responsibilities in hospital quarantine and various other areas to treat patients and prevent the spread." He added, "In these difficult times, we are thankful once again to the medical staff as small business owners have been able to resume operations."

The 10.5 million KRW fund was raised voluntarily by franchise owners nationwide. The precious amount, collected bit by bit by self-employed individuals facing tough circumstances, will be used to support health kits for medical staff who have been working hard for over three months.
