Park Gyuri Reverses Statement on Mask Wearing at Itaewon Club: "Wearing Continuously" → "Wearing Except for 20 Seconds"

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Actress Park Gyuri, formerly of the group Kara, reversed her statement regarding her visit to an Itaewon club where a confirmed COVID-19 patient had been.

According to a report on the 11th, a video captured Park Gyuri dancing and enjoying herself to Kara's songs without wearing a mask. According to the informant, Park Gyuri visited the Itaewon club on the same day as a confirmed COVID-19 patient from Yongin City who had also been at the club.

In response, Park Gyuri's side stated to a media outlet on the 11th, "She was continuously wearing a mask."

Previously, Park Gyuri and her agent had officially stated that she was continuously wearing a mask, but they faced criticism for allegedly lying due to the video showing her without a mask.

Subsequently, Park Gyuri's side reversed their position through multiple media outlets, saying, "Except for about 20 seconds upon entry when she was not wearing a mask, she wore it continuously until leaving."

It is also reported that Park Gyuri explained she wore a mask except for about 20 seconds that day.
