[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Yoo Si-min, chairman of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation, described Hong Joon-pyo, an independent winner (Daegu Suseong District), on the 21st as "older than me but a cute character" and said, "He is the cutest among conservative politicians."

On the same day, Yoo said on his YouTube channel 'Yoo Si-min's Alileo,' "Whether progressive or conservative, the style I like is someone who expresses themselves honestly as they are," expressing this view.

He said, "I do not like people who have a suspicious, sinister, or double life attitude. I like people who say if they feel bad, they say they feel bad, and if they feel good, they say they feel good. Among conservative politicians, Hong is such a person."

Then Yoo pointed out, "(There is) only one thing I don't like about (Hong Joon-pyo)," saying, "When asked for a favor, he should comply, but sometimes he ignores it recklessly and insists on his own way."

He added, "For example, he views former Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon not as pro-Roh (pro-Roh Moo-hyun) or pro-Moon (pro-Moon Jae-in) but as a pacemaker. And he talks as if the person who will run in the main election is Yoo Si-min. Even if I say no, he drags me into it."

He continued, "The presidential candidate is the person whom party members and citizens think is suitable to be president. Ignoring all that, (Hong Joon-pyo) keeps using me as a tool to diss former Prime Minister Lee in that way. I hope this one point is corrected."
