[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] LG Hausys has launched the premium system window 'LG Z:IN (LG Jiin) Window Euro System 9 (E9-TT85PHI)', which secures the highest level of insulation performance in Korea.
'Euro System 9' is LG Hausys' top-grade PVC window product that offers excellent insulation performance as well as various conveniences, and has obtained the German 'Passive House Institute (PHI) certification,' which is only granted to buildings and building materials that minimize energy waste.
LG Hausys explained that 'Euro System 9' acquired the Passive House certification by applying LG Hausys' differentiated insulation technologies such as window-dedicated built-in insulation materials in the window frame and a rubber packing compression sealing system.
It also features various convenience functions, including the European-style Tilt & Turn opening method, safety accident prevention by applying rubber safety caps on the lower corners of the window, and antibacterial function through silver ion special coating on the window handles.
In particular, from a design perspective, the thickness of the middle window frame was reduced by about 20% compared to existing products to secure a more comfortable view, and a wooden style frame and embedded hinges were applied to create a luxurious and neat design.
Kim Jin-ha, Executive Director of the Window Business Division, said, "Euro System 9 is a premium system window product that maximizes customer satisfaction in all aspects that windows should have, including insulation performance, design, safety, and hygiene." He added, "We will expand the supply of Euro System 9 to high-end houses and townhouse sites and continue to increase our market share in the domestic system window market, which is estimated to be worth about 300 billion KRW annually."
