[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Samsung Electronics is launching the 10.4-inch tablet 'Galaxy Tab S6 Lite' in Korea, offering a refined writing experience with an upgraded 'S Pen'.

On the 21st, Samsung Electronics announced that pre-orders for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will begin on the 22nd, with the official release scheduled for the 29th. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite features an affordable price, an S Pen that provides a free writing experience, and a lightweight, slim design.

The S Pen of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite offers a comfortable grip like a pencil and faster response speed, allowing users to freely write detailed notes or draw. The S Pen weighs 7.03g and has a 0.7mm tip for precise writing. It can be magnetically attached to the side of the device for easy storage without worry of loss.

When taking notes, the writing can be zoomed in up to 300%, making it easy to edit small text. Important text can be highlighted in different colors or tagged with hashtags for quick and convenient searching. All notes can be sent as PDF, JPEG images, text files, or Microsoft Word documents.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is 7mm thick and weighs 465g (Wi-Fi model), making it highly portable. Its metal design gives a premium feel, and it is available in three colors: Oxford Gray, Angora Blue, and Chiffon Pink.

It is convenient to use when linked with a smartphone. When the tablet is connected to a smartphone, setting up an automatic hotspot allows data connection with a single touch. Incoming calls and text messages on the smartphone connected with the same Samsung account can be checked and responded to directly on the tablet. It also supports 'Google Duo' video calls with up to 8 participants and offers the 'Quick Share' feature for sharing content between devices.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is available in two models: LTE and Wi-Fi. The LTE model is priced at 495,000 KRW for 64GB and 539,000 KRW for 128GB. The Wi-Fi model costs 451,000 KRW for 64GB and 495,000 KRW for 128GB. It supports external microSD cards up to 1TB and is equipped with a large 7040mAh battery.

Pre-orders will be accepted from the 22nd to the 27th, with products being delivered sequentially from the 29th. To commemorate the launch of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, customers who purchase by May 31 can buy an official diary-style book cover for 5,000 KRW and enjoy five types of content for free.
