Temporary Detour of 17 Bus Routes on Yeouido Yunjungno This Weekend

[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 10th that it will close seven bus stops near Yeouido Yunjung-ro and temporarily reroute 17 bus lines on the weekend of the 11th and 12th.

Despite the cancellation of this year's Yeouido Spring Flower Festival due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the concentration of visitors has led to the decision to continue temporary rerouting of buses near the controlled area for one more week as part of the intensified 'social distancing' measures.

Accordingly, the bus stops at Yeouido Full Gospel Church (stop numbers 19136, 19137), Yeouido Park (19138), Yeouinaru Station (19139, 19140), and Yeouido Middle School (19141, 19142) will be closed.

The 17 bus lines that will bypass these stops without stopping include Seoul buses 461, 463, 753, 5633, 5713, 6623, 5615, 5618, 7613, 261, 5534, 360, 662, 7611, 262, Yeongdeungpo 10, and Yeongdeungpo 11. Additionally, Gyeonggi-do bus lines Gimpo 1002, Yongin 7007-1, Goyang 108, and Bucheon 10 will also be rerouted.

Detailed information on the rerouted routes by bus line will be posted at the seven bus stops and inside city buses. On the day of rerouting, citizens will also be informed through TOPIS reroute announcements and BIT (Bus Information Terminal) about the rerouting information.
