Daegu Seongseo Police Station announced on the 8th that at around 10:54 PM on the 7th, A (77) was found dead and his wife B (75) was found seriously injured on the first floor of a multi-family house in Gamsam-dong, Dalseo-gu.

According to the police, A struck his wife B's head three times with a blunt weapon in an attempt to kill her.

Afterwards, A reportedly took pre-prepared drugs and then committed suicide at the scene.

Wife B was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.

Police investigations revealed that A and B had been living separately recently, and it is believed that B had visited the house to prepare a meal for her husband A and was attacked during an argument over a relationship issue.
