[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] Amid rumors of a romantic relationship between Kang Ha-neul and musical actress Lee Tae-eun, their agency quickly denied the claims.
On the 5th, a media outlet exclusively reported that Kang Ha-neul has been dating musical actress Lee Tae-eun, who is two years older, for two years. The two reportedly have maintained their connection since performing together in the 2018 musical 'Shinheung Military Academy.'
However, Kang Ha-neul's side stated through multiple media outlets, "The dating rumors with Lee Tae-eun are unfounded," adding, "They are not in a romantic relationship but are close colleagues. We conveyed the same facts to the media that first reported the story."
Regarding the recent trip taken together by Kang Ha-neul and Lee Tae-eun, they added, "It was not just the two of them; colleagues who performed together in 'Shinheung Military Academy' also accompanied them."
Kang Ha-neul received acclaim for the KBS2 drama 'When the Camellia Blooms,' which ended in 2019, and is currently appearing on the JTBC variety show 'Traveler - Argentina' alongside Ahn Jae-hong and Ong Seong-wu.
Lee Tae-eun debuted in the 2012 musical 'Doctor Zhivago' and has participated in numerous musicals including 'Grease.'
