[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Hee-eun Park] Rapper Kisum, who was assigned to the same waiting room as Everglow during her appearance on SBS MTV's 'The Show,' tested negative for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Kisum has entered a two-week self-quarantine period for safety.

Kisum's agency, First One Entertainment, stated on their official website on the 5th, "Kisum, who recently released her new song '1st Place' and was actively promoting on broadcasts, was informed by a broadcasting official on the 3rd that a staff member of Everglow, who appeared on 'The Show' together two weeks ago, tested positive for COVID-19."

The agency continued, "Since they were assigned to the same waiting room during the program, all related staff including Kisum underwent COVID-19 testing immediately upon hearing the news to prepare for any possible situation," and reported, "On the following day, April 4th, all tested negative."

Although Kisum tested negative for COVID-19, she has entered a two-week self-quarantine as a precautionary measure. Accordingly, the agency announced that all of Kisum's scheduled activities have been canceled in accordance with government and related agencies' quarantine guidelines and procedures.

Meanwhile, Kisum reassured her fans by sharing the news on her SNS. She wrote, "I will safely return after self-quarantine. Everyone, always wear masks, wash up thoroughly, and use hand sanitizer when you get home. Let's overcome this together."
