In the economic field, he promised ▲to establish and attract a Materials Research Institute for the advancement of the steel industry, lead the establishment of a National Assembly Port Forum, and introduce 12 modern 24-row cranes; ▲in the residential environment sector, he pledged to resolve disputes related to Songbo 5th and 7th complexes, Deokjinbom, and Onette rental apartments.
In the education sector, he pledged ▲to create ‘Children’s Creative Playgrounds’ and ‘Mom Playgrounds’ and emphasized support for the educational community.
In the transportation and construction sector, he pledged ▲to open a road (bridge) connecting Gwangyang Port and Yulchon Industrial Complex.
In the agricultural policy sector, he promised ▲to focus on fostering the 6th industry linked with tourism and expand research investment to create demand for maesil (Korean apricot). In the cultural city sector, he pledged ▲to strive for designating Gwangyang City as a ‘Cultural City’ by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
In the environmental sector, the pledge was ▲to establish a ‘Life Culture Special Zone’ around Baegunsan Mountain and the Seomjin River area. In the citizen welfare sector, he promised ▲to attract public postpartum care centers and specialized respiratory hospitals for women and children, and ▲as a future vision for Gwangyang, to integrate and develop our region centered on Gwangyang-eup, Chonam, Hwanggeum·Hwanggil, and Jungma.
Candidate Jeong In-hwa said, “This is a promise for Gwangyang’s development, carefully selected from the opinions gathered through my four years of legislative experience,” and added, “I will always listen to the voices of the citizens of Gwangyang.”
