On this day, Comtec System announced that it had completed the construction of a system for immersive remote lectures conducted by SK Hynix and leading domestic universities.

Comtec System configured an immersive remote lecture system using three high-definition cameras to realize the core keywords of remote lecture systems: "real-time," "immersive," and "interactive communication." Following the first phase of the project in 2018, the remote solution system, already verified on-site, has been further developed to provide a sense of presence similar to offline lectures.

The immersive remote lecture system can track the instructor's movement path and handwriting in real time. A 100-inch class display is installed to vividly convey the on-site atmosphere, and the latest equipment equipped with AI functions has been deployed for video and audio transmission between remote lecture rooms.

A company representative explained, "The remote lecture system is not only a successful industry-academia cooperation model but is also emerging as an alternative that can overcome physical constraints in emergencies such as the novel coronavirus and earthquakes. In addition to the lecture system, the adoption of remote work solutions in the financial sector and corporations is rapidly increasing, so we have formed a dedicated team to support this." He added, "We have built a top-level remote lecture system in line with global trends, and since we possess solutions applicable to various fields such as video conferencing and consulting beyond remote education, we expect to rapidly expand related businesses in the future."
