Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation Obtains Patent for 'Blockchain Anchoring Technology'

[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation announced on the 2nd that it recently obtained a patent related to blockchain anchoring technology.

Blockchain anchoring ensures the reliability and stability of data anchoring between blockchain networks through multi-signature.

Anchoring refers to the function of storing data on another blockchain platform. Additionally, the patented technology of the Minting Corporation enables data to be securely stored on other blockchain platforms, ensuring transaction safety and integrity.

The Minting Corporation plans to utilize this technology to develop its currently operated blockchain platform ‘Chak’ into a public hub for data certification.

‘Chak’ is a type of public blockchain platform and is also used to provide the ‘Mobile Local Love Gift Certificate Service’ for six local governments including Seongnam, Siheung, and Gunsan.

Including this, the Minting Corporation has filed a total of 12 patents related to blockchain technology so far, of which 7 patents have been secured.
