[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] On the 30th, Representative Yoon Sang-hyun, who declared his independent candidacy in Incheon Dong-Michuhol after leaving the United Future Party, criticized, "Who is the person helping the Moon Jae-in administration with a losing nomination (Makcheon, a reckless nomination) after breaking the promise to make a winning nomination? It is none other than Representative Hwang Kyo-ahn."

In a post on his Facebook that day, Representative Yoon said, "Representative Hwang said he would permanently block the reinstatement of independent candidates by revising the party constitution and regulations."

He pointed out, "First, Representative Hwang should apologize for the wrong nomination as a duty to the party members," and added, "Saying let's go for integration for the future but trying to block party members who want to return after fighting is not integration but only inciting division."

He continued, "The opponent Representative Hwang should fight is the Moon Jae-in administration," and said, "Why offer a knife to comrades when the enemy to fight is right in front of you?"

Earlier that morning, Representative Hwang said at the Central Election Countermeasures Committee held at the National Assembly, "Independent candidacy goes against the people's mandate and is an act that helps the Moon Jae-in administration," adding, "We have no choice but to strongly respond to independent candidacies that defy the people's mandate."

He added, "We will take strong measures such as permanently banning party admission by revising the party constitution and regulations, and party members who assist independents will also face severe disciplinary actions for such acts."
