[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] The Game Management Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Game Committee, Chairman Lee Jae-hong) is conducting emergency inspection activities to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) mainly at large PC bangs across regional zones nationwide.
The Game Committee is focusing on key inspection items such as hand washing, staff and customer mask-wearing, and cough etiquette, and is carrying out proactive response activities including posting prevention rule posters inside PC bangs, providing hand sanitizers and masks, and distributing promotional materials.
Additionally, customized card news titled 'COVID-19 PC Bang Infection Prevention Action Guidelines' has been produced to improve the understanding of game users on SNS (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), and online promotional activities are also being conducted.
Chairman Lee Jae-hong stated, "As COVID-19 prolongs, the related industry is facing great difficulties, and the Game Committee will continue to cooperate with relevant authorities to create a healthy gaming environment."
