[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Joo-hee] Actress Lee Sung-kyung is drawing attention for her appearance praising during an online worship service.

Lee Sung-kyung recently appeared in an online worship video held by a church she attends. The worship service she participated in was a special video prayer meeting for the nation and people, held from the 6th to the 26th. Currently, this church mainly conducts online worship services due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection.

In the released video, Lee Sung-kyung said, "Hallelujah. This is sister Lee Sung-kyung, the actress. Dear congregation, I have come to realize anew how much of a blessing it was to gather warmly in the sanctuary and freely praise and worship God. I am grateful for God's grace that allows us to worship even through videos now."

She added, "Especially at times like this, I earnestly pray that through this special video prayer meeting, we all become bearers of the light of hope and God's love to places filled with fear across this land."
