[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yongsan District Mayor Seong Jang-hyun visited the home of a solitary elderly person in Itaewon 2-dong on the 19th, delivering a daily necessities kit and checking on their well-being.

The kit contained 12 items, including 3 KF masks, hand sanitizer, wet wipes, and ramen.

The district is currently distributing 340 kits received from the Yongsan Welfare Foundation (Chairman Seung Man-ho) to low-income households, emergency support counseling households, and self-quarantined households in the area.

Mayor Seong Jang-hyun said, "Using items sponsored by companies, individuals, and organizations, the foundation created daily necessities kits," adding, "We will carefully monitor to ensure residents do not suffer difficulties due to COVID-19."
