[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Kim Mu-yeol revealed the reason why he started a public relationship with Yoon Seung-ah before getting married.

On the 14th, the JTBC variety show 'Knowing Bros' featured actors Song Ji-hyo and Kim Mu-yeol, the leads of the movie 'Intruder,' as guests.

During the broadcast, Kim Mu-yeol explained the process of how he had to reveal their relationship after accidentally sending a direct message on SNS to Yoon Seung-ah as a 'public message' instead of a private one.

He said, "I definitely hadn’t drunk much, and I sent a direct message to (Yoon Seung-ah) and even checked it, but I sent it as a public message. I deleted it immediately. I thought no one saw it, but it appeared on other people’s feeds. I deleted it only on my side, but someone who had a screenshot exposed it."

He continued, "When the dating rumors broke out, we had only been seeing each other for about four months," adding, "When the news broke, my wife was filming. We couldn’t contact each other for 6 to 7 hours. There was no way to stop it, so I was anxious. I thought if she wanted to break up, it would be my fault, so I was prepared for that. But she coolly said, 'Since it’s come to this, let’s date publicly.'

The message Kim Mu-yeol sent read: 'On a deep night after drinking, I keep thinking of you, want to hear your voice, and am more curious about your face. I want to call, but I’m afraid you’re sleeping, so I replace this feeling with a message I write alone today as well. Meeting you, a variable, makes my tomorrow so incomplete, awkward, and anxious. You, who make the tomorrow of Kim Mu-yeol, who was half, like this, really seem to be making me whole now. Good night. Today I’m just rambling for no reason. I miss you. This one phrase would have been enough.'

When the members read the message and teased him, he explained, "At that time, my role was a novelist, and I wanted to write poetry. I was intoxicated with the emotions of carrying a poetry book around."

Kim Mu-yeol also said that he earned the nickname 'Shakespeare of Gwangmyeong' because of this incident, which made everyone laugh.

Meanwhile, 'Intruder,' starring Kim Mu-yeol, is a mystery thriller about architect Seo-jin (played by Kim Mu-yeol), who suspects his younger brother who returned after being missing for 25 years.
