[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] Yang Chi-seung, a broadcaster and trainer appearing on KBS2's 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears,' has been accused of abusing power over a former gym employee.

On the 8th, a netizen posted on the Facebook page 'Fitness Zone' stating, "In 2016, when I was 20 years old and young at heart, I wanted to become a trainer, so I brought my high school competition achievements and went to interview at the gym run by Director Yang."

The netizen claimed, "On my first day at work, feeling unfamiliar, the director called me to a secluded corner," and "I remember him cursing at me and saying, 'If you don't want to do this, go home.'"

He continued, "Another trainer came over and said, 'The director curses a lot, but it's all a sign of friendliness. A few people have left before because they couldn't stand it,'" adding, "I tried to endure it. He would share things like chicken breast when he had food, but his mood swings became more severe."

The writer said, "If my behavior displeased him even slightly, he threatened me by saying, 'I know the entire fitness industry. Wherever you go, they will know,'" and "I couldn't bear the cursing and threats anymore, so after 3 to 4 days, I stopped coming to work without notice."

He added, "I asked for at least payment for the days I worked or transportation costs, but he didn't respond," and "That person acts like he has a good personality on TV, so I tried to forget it, but I decided to post this because I couldn't."

He said, "I was wrong to quit without notice due to my young heart, but (Director Yang) appearing on TV like this is even more inappropriate," attaching hashtags such as 'scammer,' 'Yang Chi-seung Director,' 'I Live Alone,' 'trainer,' and 'wage arrears.'

Meanwhile, Director Yang recently gained recognition appearing as a trainer for actor Sung Hoon and others on MBC's 'I Live Alone.' He is currently appearing on KBS2's 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears' and 'Starting Today, Exercise Ddung.'
