[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] On the first day of the government's implementation of the mask 5-day rotation system, it was announced on the 9th that the offline issuance fee for resident registration certificate issuance, which is necessary for identity verification, will be waived.
Currently, there is no fee when issuing a resident registration certificate through the online government civil service, but if you visit the eup/myeon/dong community service center in person to issue the certificate, you must pay a fee of 400 won per copy.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety explained, "The fee will be temporarily waived until the end of March," adding, "This is to somewhat reduce the economic burden on the public according to the mask 5-day rotation system."
In addition, to support the issuance of certificates through the online government civil service, the processing capacity of government24 servers was urgently expanded. Resident registration certificates can also be issued through Minwon24.
